Sarah is thrilled to join the Dance for PD community! She is passionate about sharing her love of movement with others and encouraging them to find their own creative voice through dance. Sarah has taught children and adults of all ages in private studios, preschools, public schools, community centers and assisted living facilities. She is a teaching artist with various schools and studios throughout the Portland area, including Oregon Ballet Theatre, PHAME, Open Space.
Sarah holds an MFA in Dance from Mills College with an emphasis in choreography and dance education and a BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah. She was a company artist with the Chicago Moving Company (Chicago, IL) and performed as a guest artist with Repertory Dance Theatre (Salt Lake City, UT).
